A Brief Summary About Our Candidate

Jayson has been blessed to call Cabot his home, much like many in our community, for the past fourteen years. Throughout his time in the community, Jayson has had the privilege to connect with the diverse population that call Cabot their home. Ranging from the time spent educating the young students at our local elementary schools, to interacting with the respected senior citizens of our local nursing homes, Jayson ensures that all age demographics are not only seen and heard, but valued.

Jayson recently closed his thirteen year academic career within the City of Cabot, where he graduated as the Cabot High School Class of 2020 Salutatorian. Furthermore, Jayson holds a deep gratitude for the foundational educational system of Cabot, which includes a multitude of educators who give their time so willingly.

Jayson's commitment to the community has been recognized at a national level. Throughout his senior year, Jayson served as Cabot's National Honor Society Chapter President for the 2019-2020 school year, and as a direct result of his involvement, Jayson received distinction from the National Honor Society organization itself.

Jayson has extended his outreach to citizens across the state over this past year. During the summer of 2019, Jayson earned the unique honor of participating in the 40th convening of Arkansas Governor's School. Here, Jayson connected with young and prominent minds from across the state, and collaborated his efforts with these scholars on means of community development.

As a result of these conversations, Jayson erected the Arkansas Student's United for Mental Health organization to protect Cabot students' rights to mental health options and treatments. This organization has already gained support from the National Alliance on Mental Illness Arkansas and been featured in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
